Closet Cleanse
Make sure to be prepared with bags, bins, or at least designated sections of your room for Donate, Sell, and Toss. Also a disclaimer with Toss* I am NOT saying to throw these pieces in the trash! They can be washed and made into rags or repurposed in so many ways. Remember to also double check your “toss” pieces as Salvation Army and Goodwill will take most pieces, just make sure everything is clean.
This is very important, so many times people start putting things away only to realize that your pieces wont fit!
This is to personal preference! Whatever works best for YOU. I personally organize by category and within that I organize by color.
These are my 5 steps for a spring closet cleanse! I hope you enjoyed and are able to utilize these steps and tips in working through your own wardrobe. I am always here to help! Weekly I Skype, Face time and Zoom with clients to review their closets or pieces that they don’t know how to wear!
Comment below if you have any questions, I would love to hear from you.
Keep an eye out for more posts on Closet Cleansing this week. I will talk about how I fold my T-shirts, Bathing suits, undergarments, etc! I will also be talking about my favorite must-have accessories for any closets.
